Gameboy Color Fishing Games
Nintendo’s Gameboy Color (GBC) handheld console had a couple of unique fishing games worth playing. Legend Of The River King 1 and 2 were amazing JRPG style fishing games. Play as a boy who is on a quest to catch the guardian fish. The fish is needed to save his ill sister. The game features neat characters and a fun story. Catch all fish species in one location to advance to a new fishing spot. When I was a little kid I always loved both of these games. Sadly the first two Gameboy Color versions were the best in the series. Black Bass: Lure Fishing was also pretty fun. It was the Gameboy color version of Super Black Bass for Super Nintendo. Easy to play and fun back in the day. Another unique one is Billy Bob’s Huntin’ ‘N’ Fishin. This was a part game that featured all kinds of different hunting and fishing events. It was a pretty good one also. All the rest for the console were just ok, nothing special.
